Build Your Brand Experience in 3 steps - our Success Formula

Today, I’m sharing my unique Brand Experience Framework that allows you to grow into the Legacy that you aspire to be. With these three steps you’re allowing yourself to come up with new, innovative ideas to create impact with your audience.

Three rules:

  1. When creating an experience, you’re creating it for yourself, but for your customer. When creating the experience for yourself, you’re missing the mark and it will fail.

  2. Let go of every rule, limitation and frame that you know and add in some fantasy. Give you’re product a personality and look at it as the hero of a story. You’ll be amazed what you’ll come up with.

  3. A brand experience has to be an extension of your product - not a new product of it’s own. It has to be a small add-on and not a new category.

Three steps to create impact:

  • 01. What does the ideal world of your product look like? Which changes would your product bring to your customers life?

Tip - what if you’d create a short movie about your product being the hero of that story, what would the story be about? What’s the success of that story?

E.g. The Story Of The Sofa.

There once was a Sofa - brand new and ready to be purchased. One day a young couple walked into the store and saw the Sofa. They bought it, & brought it home. The Sofa was honored to be placed in the heart of their home - just were it belonged. From there, the Sofa was proud to provide a home for it’s owners after landing a new job, a home when they would invite their loved ones for a cozy night in and a home when times are though and all they wanted to do was crawl up on the Sofa. It became a safe haven where they could always come back to - no matter what.

But what makes this sofa different from other sofas? And what else would make this sofa even more of a home?

  • 02. That last question provides the input for the next question: what would give my product more depth & more value?

E.g. In case of the Sofa

When purchasing the Sofa, provide the sofa with a personalised care kit to make sure the new owners can enjoy the sofa as long as possible. Teach them how to take care of the sofa, but also provide them with extra inspiration. Inspiration of other products or accessories that will make the sofa feel even more like home.
  • 03. Time to research and bring it to reality. Find out what’s possible. Packaging, printed goods, tiny extra products (such as a plaid) can enhance the experience of service around your product.

Surprise your customer and make them happier than they were before receiving your product. This creates not only a happy customer, but a loyal one. A customer that does not only return to you by itself, but will talk about you with others with such joy and happiness. That’s the kind of marketing you can’t buy.
